ISO 14001

All the plants of Nongshim have obtained ISO 14001 certification. Based on the environmental management system, all plants have established environmental management strategies and carried out action tasks throughout the entire process from procurement of raw materials to disposal after sales.

Four plants have been designated as green companies. Green company certification is awarded through an examination by the Ministry of Environment to companies that actively carry out preventive environmental management and improvement activities as well as proper treatment of pollutants with the participation of all members of the organization.

  1. 1. We practice resource and energy saving and constantly strive to reduce GHG emissions.
  2. 2. We minimize the generation of environmental pollutants through active pollution prevention throughout the entire manufacturing process and voluntarily participate in activities to protect the surrounding ecosystem.
  3. 3. We not only comply with environmental laws, but also create and faithfully implement in-house standards that are stricter than legal ones.
  4. 4. We thoroughly identify environmental aspects and legal requirements related to activities, products, and services.
  5. 5. We will continue to implement practical tasks to complete Nongshim's environmental management system.
