Better Foods & Services for better life

We, Nongshim, are a food company that produces instant noodles and snacks. We have led the Korean food industry since our establishment in September 18, 1965; especially, stepping in the millennium, we have spared no efforts to take off toward a global food company and help create a better life by providing end-to-end services for the improvement of customers’ health and lifestyle. We have substantially contributed to the development of the Korean food industry through our research institute that never stopped making investments in R & D since its establishment along with our start-up. As of now, about 100 researchers of high caliber holding a doctor’s or master's degree work with the research institute.

Our so-far hit products include, to name a few, Shinramyun, Ansungtangmyun, Neoguri, Chapagetti, Bowl Noodle (hot-tasting), Big Bow Noodle (shrimp-flavored), Shin Cup Noodle and Saeng Saeng Bowl Udon. Snacks (e.g. shrimp crackers, onion rings, sweet potato snack, honey twist snack, potato chips, etc.) have been also a great

We’ve produced instant noodles, snacks, instant rice products and fruit juices in the six domestic plants: Anyang Plant, Anseong Plant, Asan Plant, Gumi Plant,Noksan and Busan Plant. We’ve also produced bottled water (labeled Jeju Samdasoo) in collaboration with Jeju-do. We has not only topped the Korean market but also expanded ourselves into about 80 markets overseas by proactively responding to the increasingly-changing external environment. Making the most of our own competitiveness in R & D, sales capacity and sound infrastructure over competitors, we’ve tried to enhance customers’ health. We’ll continue to seek to become the world’s best food & service provider that contributes to the enhancement of mankind’s health and quality of life by keeping up with trends in informatization, globalization and specialization.
